Why This Series Exists
You already know AI is on your plate. It comes up in board meetings, in parent conversations, in hallway questions from faculty. And every time it does, the same feeling surfaces: you're the person who's supposed to have an answer, and the answer isn't clear yet. That's an orientation gap. You don't need a tutorial. You need a framework that fits how you actually think and work as a school leader. The AI Leadership Lab Series is five focused labs designed for Heads of School and Presidents at independent and Catholic K-12 schools. Each lab focuses on the operational and strategic leadership questions that land on your desk, the ones that don't come with a manual. You'll walk away with frameworks you can apply the same week and language that holds up in a board room.
What You'll Walk Away With
Each lab gives you something you can use, and each one builds a section of your AI Leadership Brief, the strategic document you'll hold at the end. You'll start with a hands-on AI experience using a real challenge from your school. You'll build a working understanding of how AI actually behaves, including why it produces confident errors and what that means for anything AI-generated that crosses your desk. You'll run a diagnostic that surfaces what you can't see about your own institution from the inside, where your processes, data, and culture are ready for AI and where they aren't. You'll learn a repeatable framework for every AI conversation that lands on your plate, whether it comes from a board member, a parent, or a direct report. And you'll synthesize everything into concrete 90-day priorities grounded in your school's specific data. The completed Brief is a leadership document. Something you built yourself that you could bring to your next board conversation, share with your leadership team, or use as the foundation for your school's AI strategy. Because the Brief is grounded in your own institutional data and your own reflections, no two look the same. And because the priorities trace back to specific findings from your diagnostic, they are specific enough to act on the following Monday.

Format and privacy
Each lab runs on your schedule. No group sessions, no fixed dates, no audience. You work through the experience privately, at your own pace, and everything you produce stays with you. Your school's readiness data, your reflections, your completed Brief: all saved locally by you. Nothing is stored or collected by the platform. The only person who sees your work is you, unless you choose to share it.
Who Built This
Designed by Linda Haitani, who has spent two decades working at the intersection of private schools and technology, including founding Ravenna Solutions, the admissions platform used by private schools nationwide. Every scenario, every framework, and every line of this series was built from inside the world you lead in.
